Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a generative form of action research spurring collective learning. Traditionally, research based on an AI approach follow four principles; appreciation, collaboration, provocation, and application. Inquiring the potential for change in an organization imply exploring, discovering and appreciating the best of what is with the purpose of enabling a sense of wonder, curiosity, and surprise spurring collaborative dialogue and experimentation to discover what could make a better future.
